Lecturer: Marion Väinämö Englaborn Marion is a licensed nursing teacher in adult education and has a background in specialized palliative care.

With 30 years of experience in healthcare and social services, she has been lecturing on LGBTQI awareness, primarily within palliative care, for the past 10 years. Marion is a transgender person and has had a long activist life within RFSL, where she is now the chairperson of the Gothenburg branch. In addition to her work and studies, she has also published a couple of anthologies and has released a teacher’s guide in geriatrics.

Are there accessible parking spaces near the entrance?

The Forum parking garage is the closest parking garage. There are spacious elevators from the parking garage that go up to the third floor (Kukontori/Tuppens torg). From there it is a short outdoor walk across Kukontori to Luckan. You will find the accessible entrance to Luckan’s spaces in the corridor between Yrjönkatu and Kukontori.

Is there space for drop-off traffic (taxi/charter taxi) to stop in front of the entrance?

In Luckan’s spaces there are some small thresholds that are 2 cm high. At the main entrance on Yrjönkatu 27, there are two steps leading up to the door. An accessible entrance without steps is around the corner; from the main entrance, walk a little south along Yrjönkatu and through the archway towards Kukontori.

Is there a functional induction loop in the event space and necessary signage?
