Is European equality an illusion? Activism in Europe’s LGBTQIA+ -hating countries
Europe is equal for all! Or is it?
In reality, equality and LGBTQIA+ rights are not being realised in all European countries. Come and hear what rainbow activism looks like in countries where rainbow people’s rights are oppressed. And is there anything that Finns can do in solidarity?
Helsinki’s Left Youth and the Left Youth Rainbow and International Working Group organize a discussion event where activists share their experiences from European countries, where the human rights of rainbow people are violated, for example through criminalisation and violence.
