Will your event be streamed, or is there an opportunity to participate remotely?

Are there accessible parking spaces near the entrance?

No.

Is there space for drop-off traffic (taxi/charter taxi) to stop in front of the entrance?

In front of Kontula Library, Ostostie 4, 00940 Helsinki. From there, it’s about 100 meters to the entrance of Restaurant Wenla.

Is the route to the entrance accessible? An accessible route means that the pathway is level, hard-surfaced, and has a gentle slope.

The path is concrete, but in poor condition and uneven. There is also a threshold over 2cm high on the route.

Is the entrance accessible?

The entrance is inaccessible. It’s an old restaurant space without automatic doors.

Is it possible to access all areas of the event without barriers?

No. Unfortunately, we don’t have the resources to accommodate wheelchair users. However, with someone accompanying them moving around in the space is possible. Access to the venue might be challenging, though.

Is there a functional induction loop in the event space and necessary signage?

No.

Does the event space have an accessible restroom that meets accessibility requirements?

No.
