Is there sign language interpretation at the event?
No.
Will your event be streamed, or is there an opportunity to participate remotely?
No.
Are there accessible parking spaces near the entrance?
No.
Is there space for drop-off (taxi/private hire vehicle) in front of the entrance?
Yes.
Is the route to the entrance accessible? By accessible route, we mean that the pathway is flat, hard-surfaced, and gently sloping.
Yes.
Is the entrance accessible?
At the nearly accessible entrance, both inside and outside, there is a 2 cm threshold at the edge of the ramp. The exterior ramp is 120 cm long with a height difference of 10 cm (slope of 8% on both sides). The interior ramp is 60 cm long with a height difference of 5 cm. There are no handrails on the ramps.
Can all areas of the event be accessed without barriers?
No. In the entrance lobby, the elevator doors open into a vestibule, which is narrow. The vestibule is too small for a wheelchair to turn around, and its doors are locked, but the elevator doors are directly opposite the entrance doors. Employees/volunteers will come to open the door, which may require a moment’s wait between the elevator doors (however, the automatic doors will not close if there is something between them). Exiting the vestibule leads to a spacious foyer. The spaces are open and well-lit. The floor is hard and level. The narrowest point of the walkway is 1300 mm in the foyer. Elsewhere, the width of the walkways is at least 1700 mm. Therefore, there is ample room to move around with an assistant or guide dog.
Is there a functional induction loop system and necessary signage in the event space?
No.
Is there an accessible toilet in the event space compliant with accessibility requirements?
No.
