Samba Carnaval!
Samba course and carnival – come and dance with us!
Samba is a dance that suits everyone who wants to have fun, exercise, and meet new people. Samba is also part of Brazilian culture, which you can experience at the Helsinki Samba Carnaval event.
We offer you a one-night samba course where you will learn the basics of samba and carnival performance. During the evening we will organise two separate courses: a youth course (around 13-15 years old) and an all-ages course. In the youth class, we also get to know other Brazilian dances, such as Brazilian funk and axé dance.
After the course, you can participate in the Saturday carnival parade. You will get more details about participation in the course. If you wish, you can also participate in the parade in your own fantasy costume!
Courses are free of charge, participation in the carnival parade costs 25€.
