Rainbow family picnic

After last year’s success, a rainbow family picnic will be organized again this year at Glims Farmstead Museum on Saturday on 15th June from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum’s yard is free, though entrance ticket is needed for entry to buildings. This museum is a Museum Card destination.

The picnic offers a program suitable for the whole family and lots of fun colourful moments to photograph. Dress colourfully for the event and take a photo of your outfit. Add it to the museum’s Instagram handle #espoocitymuseum. The more colourful the outfit, the better!!

Faunora Creations organizes a workshop to make ear from furry materials on a hairband or elastic band. The colorful fabric pieces are recycled fabric. The workshop is in Finnish and English. Other Faunora Creations products are also on sale.

Experience car Välkky will be visiting the museum. There is a collection of different books on the entire spectrum of the rainbow. The library car also has books about nature and responsible camping. Also stop by Välkky’s pin workshop, where you can make your own colorful pin.

Colorful paper lanterns will made in the museum’s workshop. What is your favorite color? Take the lantern home or leave it at the museum to delight other visitors.
Bring a fun company and picnic treats and join Glims’ Rainbow family picnic!

Also remember to be prepared with weather-appropriate clothing.

The event is part of the KAMU pride program.
