Wordshop Goes Pride
Sanapaja/Wordshop is a writing workshop series by Nuoren Voiman Liitto for young writers (13–19 yrs). You can write creatively in any language—grammar doesn’t matter! Workshops are held in Finnish and English, are free of charge, and require no pre-registration. Led by creative writing teacher Jenni Hurmerinta, the sessions offer a space to explore writing freely. In honor of Pride Week, join a special rainbow-themed Wordshop filled with creative exercises. The workshop follows safe space principles—everyone is welcome!
The program will be held at the Youth Pride House in the Caisa Cultural Center. The Youth Pride House is intended for visitors aged 13 to 25.

An accessible entrance to Caisa is from Kaikukatu. Entrance to Caisa’s facilities is through the patio of Leipätehdas. Caisa’s facilities are accessible: no obstacles or height differences exist in rooms or corridors.
There are clear signs at the premises. Wheelchair seats are accessible by elevator via 3rd floor. The Festivity hall, gallery and auditorium are equipped with an induction loop. Guide dogs are welcomed.
