Meaningful and diverse

Helsinki Pride is celebrated all throughout June this year. The traditional Helsinki Pride Week takes place as usual in the last week of June 27.6. - 3.7.2022. The Pride Week programme happens mainly during week 26 and the programmes are spread throughout the metropolitan area.

During Helsinki Pride Week, the programme will once again be organized with dozens of different organizations and individuals. The programme can be followed and experienced at the Pride House aka the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kiasma from Monday to Sunday. The programme is also held in numerous other locations.

Helsinki Pride Info & the Shop is located in the Pride House. Both Info and Shop serve customers daily. From the Shop you can buy Helsinki Pride merchandise all week long. You can also become a member of the Helsinki Pride Community at the Pride House.

Pride House

The Pride House of Helsinki Pride Week is hosted at the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma.

At the Pride House the programme is mainly situated on the first floor of Kiasma. Helsinki Pride Info & Shop are available in the Kiasma lobby during Helsinki Pride Week.

At Kiasma the programme will be held in the Seminar Room, Theater, and Workshop which is located on the fifth floor.

NOTE! Kiasma is exceptionally open on Monday 27.6.

Box By Posti

The official Wear it with Pride -products are also on sale at the Keskuskatu Box by Postissa during 20.6.-29.7.

Proceeds from buying Wear it with Pride -products will 100% go towards supporting the Helsinki Pride Community’s year-round community and human rights work.

Tickets and admission

Helsinki Pride Week programmes have free admission, with a few exceptions. Everyone is welcome to participate in the Helsinki Pride Week programmes. If tickets are sold for an event, the information about it will also be found on the programme website.

The only events organised by the Helsinki Pride Community for which tickets are sold are the Women's Party and the Official Closing Party. With the ticket revenues we cover the costs of the parties.

Women’s Party

Womens party welcomes all people part of sexual and/or genderminorities, who identify as a woman, feel connection to femininity or have femininity as a part of their identity. We respect self-determination and the limitation has been done in order to make sure that people who recognise themselves from the description have a possibility to encounter one another in a relaxted environment.

Closing Party

The Helsinki Pride month will end in a memorable closing party. The official closing party of Finland’s first Helsinki Pride month will be held in the heart of Helsinki, in Allas Sea Pool on July 2. at 7 pm-2pm. The stunning performing artists of the night: New Ro, Benjamin and DJ Mr.A

Parade

The Pride Parade is here again!

The Parade, which starts at Senate Square, is a cheerful, colorful and loud demonstration for equality and diversity. In the Parade, everyone has the right to be exactly who they are.
