Description

Your donation supports LGBTQIA+ youth!

Youth Pride Week is a week-long event aimed at 13-25 year olds. The week offers a variety of activities, such as workshops, performances and hobby groups. The event is aimed at all rainbow youth, that is for anyone that identifies for example as trans, intersex, gay or bi.

In previous years Youth Pride Week has gathered large numbers of LGBTQIA+ youth. We want to be able to answer the growth in demand with a week of events like never before, where every LGBTQIA+ youth can find activities to take part in. Donations are crucial to producing Youth Pride, which takes place simultaneous to Pride Week.

Youth Pride Week 2022 is co-produced with the Youth Services of the City of Helsinki and the Helsinki City Museum.

We support the rainbow community year-round

With our year-round activities we support other LGBTQIA+ individuals in vulnerable positions, such as asylum seekers and refugees. Peer support has always been at the core of our operations. Peer support groups give the opportunity to have meaningful conversations, support, community and opportunities to engage in volunteer work for many members of the rainbow community. Every year our trained staff encounters hundreds of people in need of help and that benefit from our service consultations and training.
