The More Color rainbow flag was designed as a new version of the rainbow flag in 2017 in Philadelphia, United States. Two stripes, black and brown, were added to it; the purpose of the flag is to specifically highlight the diversity of skin colors and ethnic backgrounds within the LGBTQ community. The meaning of the additional stripes was to make the rainbow flag more intersectional by including more groups of people. The idea came from a group whose motto was ‘More Color, More Pride.’
Our More Color rainbow flag measures 150 x 90cm, making it suitable both as a stunning decoration to showcase the wearer’s values and as a parade banner for the traditional Pride celebration in June. The flag is printed using silkscreen technique and equipped with a reinforced edge strip.
