Description
Transgender Pride flag in size 150 x 90cm! Manufactured from polyester, equipped with reinforced edge strip.
The flag was first publicly displayed in the 2000 Arizona Phoenix Pride parade and was designed by Monica Helms, a transgender woman, a year earlier in 1999.
The Trans flag consists of five stripes and three colors. According to its creator, “The stripes at the top and bottom are light blue, the traditional color for baby boys. The stripes next to them are pink, the traditional color for baby girls. The stripe in the middle is white, for those who are intersex, transitioning or consider themselves having a neutral or undefined gender.”
The flag is not the most convenient item to carry around in everyday life, but we’ve solved this problem by adding Pride flag-inspired pins to our selection, transgender flag is also represented, of course.
