Youth Pride

In individual meetings, young people and young adults aged 13-29 have the opportunity to receive advice, support discussions and service guidance in questions related to sexual orientation and gender diversity.

Youth Pride peer-to-peer activities are organized by different organizations for rainbow youth and young people who are thinking about their rainbow identity. This means those who belong to a sexual or gender minority and those who are thinking about their identity. Activities are offered in a targeted manner for different age groups in the Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa area.

The activities are aimed at reducing loneliness, increasing empowering feelings and experiences of community and inclusion, and creating opportunities for getting to know other young people and networking.

The Youth Pride network brings together organizations that produce rainbow-specific and sensitive activities in the capital region.

Youth Pride Week is a week of events aimed at LGBTQIA+ youth. During the week young people meet each other, build friendships, take part in different events and get to know different organizations engaged in youth work.

Youth Pride Week will take place 24.–30.6.2024, the same week as Helsinki Pride Week.

Helsinki Pride is organizing Youth Pride Week in cooperation with the Youth Unit of the City of Helsinki.
