For employers, educational institutions, professionals
What we offer:
Helsinki Pride Community models and develops educational material for professionals working with youth and employers who employ young people. We offer companies that employ young people, educational institutions and other professionals working with young people training in supporting youth belonging to sexual and/or gender minorities, and also in creating community based practices in order to strengthen safer space. One of the main goals is to offer work trials for LGBTQIA+ youth in the project's partner companies.
Examples of training and other kind of support:
- Updating Equality and Non-discrimination plans.
- Creating monitoring and evaluation metrics for equality and non-discrimination action.
- Developing DEI work (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion).
- In designing gender sensitive toilets and dressing rooms.
- In dismantling socially harmful and restrictive gender norms.
- Working on and applying principles of a safer space.
- In starting and developing Harassment Contact Person policy.
- In preparing HR practices that promote non-discrimination.
- Bringing out LGBTQIA+ culture in everyday school and work life.
- Practical implementation of EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDDD) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting (CSRD) Directives.
