High Commissioner for Refugees visiting the Finnish Refugee Council

Helsinki Pride Community board member Hassen Hnini participated 24.10.2019 in the meeting with Mr Filippo Grandi hight commissioner for Refugees. The event was organized by the Finnish Refugee Council to discuss the situation of refugees in Finland and their integration in Finland.

Hassen high lighted the situation of the LGBTIQ asylum seekers, the asylum process challenges and also the issues that members of our community face to integrate. He also brought up the problem of trans people seeking asylum  and new comers to get the hormone treatment in Finland .
