Helsinki Pride will take place from September 7th to 13th, and the helsinkipride2020.fi website is now open!

Visit the site to find all the information you need to celebrate Helsinki Pride in these exceptional times. You will find a lot of information about the new concept of Pride Saturday, the full program for the whole week, Virtual Parade and instructions on how to join the celebration whether it will be at the city, home, or online.

The Official program includes a huge variety of events from panel discussions to peer events, performances, and art events. On the event page, you can find details of the events and possible links to the webstreams. The mood and the spirit of Pride will be broadcasted daily to the Pride Stream throughout the whole week. There you can also watch the Pride Lorry explore the city with Pride affiliates on board.

The event site is the place to find ways to celebrate Pride on Saturday the 12th of September. Since it is not possible to have a centralized parade under these circumstances, on Saturday at noon, celebrate in smaller groups and fill the streets, parks, and homes with all the colors of the rainbow. Don’t forget to show your Pride on social media! Let the diversity shine and be part of the large community by joining the Virtual Parade. The Pride Stream will follow the parades and picnics, and naturally, show the Helsinki Pride 2020 Concert from 4 pm. onwards.

The event site will be updated weekly and there will be more and more links, information, and details of the events coming constantly.

The Strong community behind the Pride Week

Pride Week is organized by an amazing group of people ranging from the Helsinki Pride Community employees and volunteers to affiliates such as organizations, corporations, unions, and other supporters. A special thanks goes to Ask Kauko’s team, which has created the event site and made it possible to have Pride that is accessible and safe to all.

Let’s stay safe together

This year the Helsinki Pride Week will be held adjusting to the pandemic. Our safety requires that everyone carries their responsibility. Safety is taken into account throughout the Helsinki Pride Week; in the event spaces, programs, and network platforms. Information and instructions for safety can be found on the event site. Helsinki Pride Week is following the changing Coronavirus situation constantly and all the possible changes to the week will be published on the Helsinki Pride Week channels.

Share the event site using the Helsinki Pride Week hashtags and spread the word on how to celebrate Pride with your friends in September! Join Helsinki Pride on social media and in real life, and give your valuable support for human rights with all the colors of the rainbow; because we are Changing the World with Pride!
