Tompan Drag king -workshop

Työpajan aikana osallistujat johdatellaan kokeilevan maskuliinisuuden pariin ja he pääsevät luomaan mieshahmon. Kurssilla tutkitaan yhdessä sukupuolen ilmaisua ja perehdytään partailun saloihin. Ei ole olemassa yhtä oikeaa tapaa olla mies tai esittää miestä. Luodaan yhdessä uusia tapoja. Osallistua voi sukupuolesta riippumatta.

Työpajan ohjaajana toimii drag-taiteilija, teatteri-ilmaisun ohjaaja ja yhteisöpedagogi Kristiina Puukko. Hänen drag hahmonsa Tom of Puukko, kavereiden kesken Tomppa, oli ehdolla vuoden parhaaksi drag-hahmoksi QX Awardseissa 2018.

Tom Of Drag King (workshop) During this workshop, participants are guided to explore masculinity, and they’ll have the opportunity to create a masculine character. Together we will explore how to express gender, and even how to wear a beard! There is no one right way to be a man or to perform as one. Let’s create new ways together. Come and participate regardless of your gender.

The workshop is held by drag-artist, drama teacher and community educator Kristiina Puukko. Her drag-persona Tom of Puukko, or Tomppa for short, was nominated as The Drag Persona Of The Year in QX Awards in 2018.
