HIV knows no borders: HivFinland, Hivpoint, Protukipiste, AIDS Action Europe, Germany and Alliance for Public Health, Ukraine & Friends of Dorothy

HIV is not just a medical issue – it is also a social and structural challenge. Vulnerabilities to HIV reflect not only biological factors but also deeper inequalities; social, structural and political.
At the moment US funding cuts to HIV/AIDS programmes threaten treatment and care for many.
How to stand for health and human rights in the times that are undermining decades of progress in helth and human rights
Come and listen to the panel discussion: what happens when access to medicines and community support is compromised? What is the international situation and its impact on Finland? How do we ensure treatment and care for all, regardless of the reason to stay in a country?
We will hear thoughts from
Sini Pasanen, Positiiviset
Jenny Tigerstedt, Hivpoint
Jaana Kauppinen, Pro-tukipiste
Ferenc Bagyinszky, AIDS Action Europe, Germany (online)
