What is a Community partnership?

Support for Helsinki Pride Event

Helsinki Pride is Finland's largest cultural and human rights event, growing stronger yearly in its support for equality. Our event is primarily funded through our own fundraising efforts. It is important to us to ensure that our community continues to have a safe and successful experience, one that everyone can participate in, regardless of their financial situation – unlike in many other countries, where ticket sales are used to cover event production costs.

With the support of our community partners, we cover the event's production costs, make the event even more impactful, and together, we advocate for human rights.

Strong impact

Partnering with the Helsinki Pride community is a strong and visible statement that your organization supports rainbow rights and is committed to promoting equality and fairness within its operations and in society.

This partnership offers an excellent opportunity to take concrete actions that accelerate your organization's social responsibility efforts and positively impact the surrounding community.

Partnership benefits

As a Community Partner, your organization:

  • Can contribute to Helsinki Pride Official Program (we will request more details about the program through a separate form, which will be sent to you once your partnership application is approved). You can organize events throughout Pride Month, not only during the Helsinki Pride Week!
  • Can use the Helsinki Pride Community Partner 2025 logo in its marketing and communications
  • Has your logo featured on Helsinki Pride’s social media channels and the pride.fi website as a Community Partner
  • Will be given a walking block in the Helsinki Pride parade for your organizationV
  • Can, for an additional fee, reserve a pre-built tent for your organization at the Helsinki Pride Park Festival on 28 June 2025.

What we require from our partners

We require that all our partners are committed to promoting equality, fairness, and the rights of rainbow people. We review the history of each partner organization and how human rights and responsibility have been addressed in the past.

Additionally, we emphasize our partner organizations' goals, wishes, and plans regarding the rights, well-being, and inclusion of sexual and gender minorities in the partnership and beyond in the coming years. A partnership does not require perfection but a genuine desire to develop.

    Pricing categories

The pricing categories for Community Partnerships are divided into 8 levels based on the applicant organization's annual budget (from the previous year's financial report). The pricing categories ensure fairness in cost distribution.
