The Official Helsinki Pride Week Afterparty 28.6.
A sweaty week needs a sweaty ending... And for a real sweater, Helsinki Pride Week gets a proper crescendo at Post Bar: Brazilian sonic-anarchist Slim Soledad brings the house down with cherry-picked local heat by her side.
Slim Soledad came up as a dancer for parties in downtown São Paolo. Now she commands her own dancers with a fiesty combination of baile funk, heavier strains of techno, and anything she can fit in-between. The result? A mad(dening), genre-defying party-hardy.
In for the ride as well: s4int nicholas, the local party girl with an ego the size of a milk van. Euphoria, rolling glow, and fans flailing-in-the-air vibes. Just what mother ordered. To seal the deal, SMUT DISCO–night daddy €TOM and his larger-than-life DJ-partner NOEI crash the party but only because they’re invited.
The event space Post Bar is fully accessible. All events organized by the Helsinki Pride community follow the principles of safer space. The event is 18+.

The tradition of Pride parades began in Finland in 1981. At that time, the event was called 'Vapautuspäivät' (Liberation Days), in line with the Gay Liberation movement. The highlights of Liberation Days became the Saturday parade, park gathering, and evening celebration.
In the 1990s, Liberation Days began to take on a more festive character, with colorful balloons, props, and banners appearing in the parade. At the turn of the millennium, the event’s name was changed to Pride, following the international model, and the first Helsinki Pride Week was celebrated in 2000. Since 2006, Helsinki Pride Week has been held every year.

2025 theme
Ylpeyttä ilman rajoja – Pride without Borders
Everyone must have the right to freedom, pride, and self-determination. At Helsinki Pride Community, we defend these values and recognize no borders or boundaries when it comes to human rights – they belong to everyone. Finland is not just a country where people are born; it must also be a place that welcomes those fleeing persecution due to their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
Together with Pride, which supports LGBTQIA+ migrants, has been a vital part of the Helsinki Pride Community's year-round work for 10 years. In the anniversary year of 2025, we want to amplify the voices of LGBTQIA+ migrants and highlight the diversity within our community. We believe that the LGBTQIA+ community should be a safe haven for everyone, especially those forced to leave everything behind. When our community is truly diverse, anti-racist, and a rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and identities, we can look at each other with pride.
We demand equal and fair support for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community, both from within and outside the community. We believe in a future where everyone can live without fear and where strength lies in openness. We are building a community where everyone has space to grow, live, and dream. Our community grows stronger by opening doors, not closing them.
Pride knows no borders!
