Who can apply?
Anyone can apply to Helsinki Pride’s official program calendar through the open application process.
Individuals, such as artists, groups, and art collectives – anyone except organizations and businesses – can apply to include their program. If you or your group have a business ID (Y-tunnus), please apply for the program through Helsinki Pride’s partnership process.
If the organizing entity is a non-profit, public-benefit organization, you should apply for a community partnership to be included in the official program calendar.
If the organizing entity is a business (with an annual turnover or balance sheet total of up to 2 million euros), you should apply for the Small Business Partnership to be included in the official program calendar.
Helsinki Pride Community curates the program and will notify each selected applicant about their inclusion. Events are submitted through a separate form, which can be found at the end of this page.

What kind of events can be organized?
You can now apply through the open program application to be included in Helsinki Pride’s official program calendar. We want to offer a range of activities that are as diverse as possible for all visitors, so we select various events and activities in the official program calendar.
You can apply with a ready-to-go event (with content, location, funding, and execution in place) and reach interested participants. We accept a wide variety of events, such as art exhibitions, music performances, sports events, panel discussions, performances, and dance shows—all kinds of events are welcome in the program.

Where and when can events be organized?
We strongly encourage organizing events throughout Pride Month to increase your chances of reaching interested participants. Pride Week is a popular time; traditionally, many events occur during this period.
You can apply for a space at Pride House, the Pride Week event center located in downtown Helsinki, but please note that Helsinki Pride cannot guarantee a space at Pride House for your event. The event organizer is responsible for finding a suitable venue for their event.

Why apply?
Our official program gathers all rainbow-themed events in Helsinki during Pride Month. Including your event in our official program ensures it reaches the interested participants. We strive to communicate the events in the program calendar fairly and highlight interesting events on our social media channels. We use the information in the program submission form, so a clear and attractive event description increases your chances of being featured in our communications.
Unfortunately, not all events will be communicated, so promoting your event on your own channels is important.

How to apply
How to fill out the application form
Please fill out the form carefully and only when you have all the necessary details. We want our program calendar to be as informative as possible for our event attendees, so we ask that you respond to every question in the form.
To ensure fairness for everyone, we will not publish incomplete or incorrectly filled-out submissions. We also do not accept additional information via email or phone. In the application form, please provide the exact details of your event (name, date, location, target audience, nature of the event, program description, and accessibility information). The event title and description should be provided in both Finnish and English.
We will contact each applicant who has filled out the form according to the instructions and confirm if the event has been selected for inclusion in the official program calendar. We will not select events where the application form is incomplete.
We process event ideas in the order they are received and make decisions about the program during the application period. We only process events with a completed application form. If you are planning multiple events, please submit separate applications for each event.

We have divided the program application into two phases. Please note that the application forms will automatically close on the following dates:
Program application for Pride House (during Pride Week, June 23–29): Application deadline is 30 April 2025.
Program application for events during Pride Month (June 1–30, 2025) with an already secured venue: The application deadline is 12 May 2025.
Open call for Pride House
Program applications for Pride House, the Pride Week event center in Helsinki. Pride House is open during Pride Week, from Monday to Sunday, but events can be held from Tuesday to Friday. Pride House offers functional and comfortable event spaces, light, sound equipment (PA system: microphones, speakers, and mixer), and assistance with event logistics.
If you want to organize an event at Pride House, the application deadline is 30 April 2025. Please note that we cannot guarantee space at Pride House. Do not fill out this form if you are a Helsinki Pride partner. Partners will receive the form via email.

Info event for event organizers
We are organizing two online info events for event organizers: Friday, 21 March, at 9 AM (in Finnish) and Friday, 28 March, at 3 PM (in English). During the events, we will review the program application process and the form and answer any additional questions.
