Free legal advice during Pride Week 24 June 2026

Do you have a legal question – or a situation on your mind that you may not yet know how to put
into words? During Pride Week, we offer low-threshold, completely free and confidential legal
advice, especially for lhbtiqa+ individuals.
You are welcome to come and talk even if your matter feels unclear or unfinished. There is no
commitment, and no obligations are attached to the meeting. An attorney will listen and help you
explore your options based on your wishes and situation.
You can discuss, for example:

• legal questions related to relationships and marriage
• family and parenthood matters
• wills and other inheritance issues
• name change and legal gender recognition
• discrimination in working life or services
• being a victim of crime and your rights
• being suspected of a crime and your rights
• asylum and residence-related matters
• or any other legal issue

The conversation is always fully confidential. You will receive a clear initial assessment and
guidance on the next steps. The advice is provided on a voluntary basis by experienced attorneys
with expertise in sensitive and respectful encounters.

The service is organised in line with safer space principles. We respect everyone’s self-
identification, background, and life situation. You do not need to bring any documents, and you are
not expected to know legal terminology. It is enough to share as much about your situation as you
wish.

The service is available in Finnish (1–5 PM) and in English (1–3 PM). No documents are drafted
during the consultation, and no broader assignments are taken on.
